1. Hello! 2. Something to listen to 3. Free webinar 4. What is Forest Bathing?? 5. What's next? 6. Questions?
Hello Reader,
Last week, I introduced the R.O.O.T.S. System—a one-of-a-kind, nature-inspired framework I've carefully crafted to help both individuals and businesses thrive in my coaching and consulting work. This system is all about fostering deep, lasting growth by learning from the natural world around us.
While having a solid structure is super important—it gives us stability and helps calm our nervous system—it's those "in-between", transitional moments, the liminal experiences, that truly feed our soul. To build real resilience - build emotional strength by learning from nature’s adaptability (the 'R' in R.O.O.T.S.) - and handle life's ups and downs with grace, we need to get comfortable with these liminal spaces. That's where real transformation and adaptability happen!
Having the right "tools" makes us feel resourceful and empowered. And what's more empowering than being able to help yourself? Think about that saying, "put on your oxygen mask first." It's not just for flights; it's a deep truth about life.
This idea applies to everything you do. If you're not taking care of yourself and can't support your own well-being, how can you truly help others? Prioritizing your needs isn't selfish; it's absolutely necessary if you want to contribute effectively and it's a core principle of the R.O.O.T.S. System.
By nurturing your own roots, you build the foundation to flourish and, ultimately, help others do the same.

something to listen to...
I’ve been following Plantwave for over a decade and it’s been amazing to hear their progress. Using sonification technology, their device is attached to a plant’s leaves to turn the plant’s biorhythms into music!
listen to a plant on the Na Pali Coastal Trail in Kauai, Hawaii connected to a PlantWave, which is translating data from a plant into notes. The notes are streamed to a phone with the PlantWave app. Notice how the melodies shift over time…
Join me on July 23rd (tomorrow) at noon PST for an intimate and transformative 30-minute webinar where I'll reveal how nature can be your most profound guide through life transitions.
Whether you’re in a business or life transition, here’s what I know:
Nature doesn’t rush, but it never stays stuck. And neither should you.
As a Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, I've got this question alot over the years. In fact, someone thought it had to do with actual bathing, in water, in the forest. But, the term comes from the Japanese word for it, Shinrin-Yoku. It was developed in the '80's in Japan as a way for over worked and stressed-out people living in cities, to take in the forest atmosphere. Since then, research shows that a 2-3 hour guided experience results in lower cortisol levels, reduced blood pressure and higher NK Cell activity (natural killer cells).
RSVP HERE for my July 23rd webinar ‘Nature as your Ally’, where I unpack how nature’s wisdom fuels resilience, clarity, and confidence. If you’ve ever wondered, “How do I move forward when everything around me changes?” this is your answer. This will be a 30-minute webinar with time for Q & A.
Stay tuned: In the coming weeks, I’ll share my new PDF guide, “5 Nature-led Strategies to Live Well”.
Next week, I'll share information on my NEW group program for post-menopausal businesswomen, called EMERGE.
